With 14+ years in the mortgage and real estate industry, Rick has built a career on leadership, service, and growth—both personal and professional. His journey has taken him from graduating Leadership Folsom to completing Keller Williams BOLD three times, serving as a 2-time Chair for Folsom’s Leading Young Professionals, guiding the Give Committee for Metro EDGE, the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s young professionals group, and currently sitting on the Folsom Traffic Safety Committee for the City of Folsom.

Rick’s professional career spans some of the most dynamic roles in real estate and mortgage. He served as an In-House Loan Officer for Keller Williams Realty through Big Valley Mortgage, where he educated over 120 real estate agents on the mortgage process and built lasting relationships with realtors, investment advisors, and community leaders. He then joined RedDoor as employee number five, where as Director of Agent Engagement and Purchase Team Manager, he built a mortgage production team from the ground up, growing loan officer output from 1-2 loans per month to 10-15. At Opendoor, he stepped into a Business Relationship Manager role, leading a team of 25, expanding key lending systems, and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and upper management to drive revenue and efficiency. Most recently, Rick served as Team Leader at Keller Williams Realty in Folsom, where he led agent recruitment, training, and retention while fostering a culture aligned with the company’s mission and values.

Passionate about strengthening community, Rick founded the FLYP Cares Non-Profit Showcase to elevate local nonprofits and their missions. He also helped lead creative fundraising efforts like Hairs That Care, rallying people together to make a tangible difference.

At his core, Rick is driven by connection, contribution, and continual learning. Whether mentoring agents, leading teams through change, or championing local initiatives, his goal is the same: to inspire growth, create impact, and leave every space better than he found it.
